Triad's latest design for city-wide mesh systems, UbiFi, was recently proposed for a city in Arizona. UbiFi is based on the concept of reducing municipal Wi-Fi to it’s most elemental application, the maximum amount of wireless bandwidth for the least amount of money.  It follows the mantra of cheaper, better, faster and brings municipal wireless services back as the value it was originally intended to be.  Triad’s system can crack the digital divide by getting the installation costs down to 1/10 of existing designs while providing up to 14Mbps of bandwidth or more to an area.
